It is hard to put into words how much we love Green Tree. The teachers truly care and respect our children. They observe and know our children so well and are able to meet their needs in a way that is truly remarkable. The teachers treat each child as an individual and meet them where they are. I have seen my children be able to focus on work and are given the freedom to accomplish that work at their own pace which ultimately leads to this sense of pride of accomplishment. “I did it!” has become a regular phrase in our home! Green Tree has provided an environment for our 3 year old to develop wonder and curiosity and ultimately a love for learning. Every morning we have to answer if today is “Science Friday!”
We are so thankful for the academics at Green Tree, but the thing we are most thankful for is the opportunity for our kids to learn social skills in a safe environment. The children are encouraged to be kind and empathetic to the other children and the teachers are there to support the kids through big emotions. We hear about the “Peace Bench” on a regular basis. From the teachers to the families to the kids, it is so special to be apart of this community.

Having my boys at Green Tree gives me the greatest gift a working parent can have – peace of mind. I know that at Green Tree, my kids learn from and are truly cared for by incredibly qualified teachers and other staff members. Before finding Green Tree, I didn’t know much about the Montessori philosophy and approach, but having experienced it and seen first-hand what a Montessori classroom is like, I know there is no other place I would want my kids to be at this age.
The classroom is both calm and active, the learning is both practical and fun, and the teachers strike an amazing balance of giving the children guidance and fostering their independence. I’m so grateful that we found Green Tree.

Green Tree is such a special place to learn and grow. We’ve loved the “just right” size of the classrooms and community and we have watched Arlo blossom throughout his personal learning journey.
He is so respected and truly seen by all of the staff and we love that they know him so well. His teachers share his successes from learning to crawl to using the toilet for the first time with such genuine joy and excitement. They make incredibly careful observations about what he’s focused on at the moment and provide a rich and ever-adapted environment of materials to help him and all the children continue to grow.
